Who we are

Riverside Veterinary clinic was started by Nigel Johnston, our principal veterinary surgeon in 2002. Since then we have moved premises within Ballymoney and doubled the size of our current location at the Acorn Business Centre.

Including Nigel, we have a team of 4 vets in the clinic. Kate, David and Conor work part time to help Nigel and make sure he gets some well deserved time off every now and again!

The rest of our team consists of our 2 nurses, Shannon and Grace, our 2 receptionists, Heather and Melanie and our practice manager, Kirsty. Sometimes we are joined by Nigel’s wife Sue who is also a veterinary nurse!!

Between us we have about 15 horses, 20 dogs and 10 cats!!!!!!!!!!!!!
